Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigellinus Satanae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen 10 Years - All White as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith connects with a body shot.
Smith throws a low kick but Satanae avoids it.
Satanae seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Nice sprawl there from Satanae as Smith shoots in.
Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Satanae holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Satanae throws an elbow but misses.
Smith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Satanae gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Tigellinus Satanae has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Smith.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Satanae just misses with a elbow thrown towards Smith's brow.

Smith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Satanae is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Satanae is fighting off a takedown attempt but Smith is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Satanae to the mat. Satanae regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Smith lands a couple of elbows.
Satanae lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Satanae wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Satanae holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Satanae connects with a nasty looking knee right to Smith's face.

Smith blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Smith is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Satanae pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Satanae pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Smith goes for a takedown in the clinch but Satanae prevents it.
A bit of stalling here from Satanae.
Satanae is pressed up against the cage. Smith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Satanae down to the mat. Satanae avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Satanae is looking to clinch.
Johnny Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Satanae looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Satanae as he avoids it easily.

Smith manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Satanae on his heels. He'll look to pass Satanae's guard now, I'm sure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Satanae has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Smith manages to get his head free but now Satanae has transitioned to an armbar! Smith grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Satanae! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
