Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Tyrannosaurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmie Akesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrannosaurus comes to the cage accompanied by MacArthurPark. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akesson lands a jab to the nose.
Tyrannosaurus gets caught flat footed, as Akesson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Akesson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Akesson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Akesson throwing strikes from guard but Tyrannosaurus blocks nicely.
Akesson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Akesson connects with a couple of short punches.
Akesson stops Tyrannosaurus from standing up.
Akesson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyrannosaurus's head.

Akesson throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Akesson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tyrannosaurus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Akesson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tyrannosaurus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Akesson is in Tyrannosaurus's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Akesson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tyrannosaurus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyrannosaurus tries to get out of the position.
Akesson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Akesson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyrannosaurus's head.
Tyrannosaurus is rocked!
Tyrannosaurus trying to keep a closed guard but Akesson is proving a slippery customer.
Akesson postures up in Tyrannosaurus's guard and throws a big left but Tyrannosaurus blocks it.

Tyrannosaurus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Akesson moves away from the strike by Tyrannosaurus.
Akesson lands a nice looking body shot.
Akesson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Akesson showed some decent athleticism there.
Tyrannosaurus scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Akesson manages to mount him!

Tyrannosaurus can't escape the position.
Akesson lands a big elbow.
It looks like Rex Tyrannosaurus has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Akesson! Tyrannosaurus is hurt baaadly! Akesson is firing away with more strikes - Tyrannosaurus is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Jimmie Akesson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
