Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Beany (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Kannemeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roy Kannemeyer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Beany!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Kannemeyer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beany throws a jab when Kannemeyer was well out of range.
Kannemeyer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Beany moves to clinch but Kannemeyer breaks away
so Kannemeyer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kannemeyer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kannemeyer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Beany is controlling Kannemeyer's posture.
Beany is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beany is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Beany is trying to keep Kannemeyer in close.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Beany wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Beany moves in looking to clinch but Kannemeyer pushes him off.
Beany fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kannemeyer manages to avoid it.
Beany throws a leg kick
and Kannemeyer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beany won't be happy with that.
Beany tries to improve position but can't.
Kannemeyer wants to stand but Beany has his arm trapped.
Beany manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kannemeyer tries to roll over but Beany keeps him under control.
Kannemeyer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Beany is working away from the top position though.
Beany is trying to control the action in half guard but Kannemeyer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kannemeyer wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kannemeyer is on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beany throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Beany can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kannemeyer controls the pace.
We've been informed that Kannemeyer has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Beany working a defensive guard but Kannemeyer passes into half guard.

Kannemeyer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kannemeyer seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Beany is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
