Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Split Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Pellegrini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pellegrini comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nicola Piovani - Il Camorrista kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Salvatore Pellegrini acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Salvatore Pellegrini!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pellegrini moves into the clinch.

Pellegrini decides to pull guard.

Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown preventing the sweep.
Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pellegrini's guard.
Pellegrini is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown wanted to stand there but Pellegrini had control of the position.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pellegrini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Pellegrini's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown gets to his feet - Pellegrini follows without any prompting.
Pellegrini doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
No joy there for Pellegrini, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown misses with a head kick.
Brown lands a leg kick that knocks Pellegrini off balance momentarily.
Brown takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pellegrini darts in looking for a takedown but Brown gets double underhooks and turns Pellegrini into the cage.
Brown went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Pellegrini shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pellegrini gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown throws a counter high kick but Pellegrini was just alert enough to avoid it.
Pellegrini throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pellegrini lands a glancing blow to the side of Brown's head.
Pellegrini fails to land the takedown.
Split Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salvatore Pellegrini.
Pellegrini wants to clinch but Brown slips to the side
and Brown counters with a nice body kick.
Pellegrini looks winded!

Pellegrini pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brown throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pellegrini has his takedown stuffed
and Brown counters with a nice body kick.
Salvatore Pellegrini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pellegrini doesn't seem bothered though.
Brown throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Brown thuds his shin into the meat of Pellegrini's side.
Brown throws a leg kick which misses Pellegrini's front leg but catches the back leg as Pellegrini tries to avoid it.
We've been informed that Pellegrini has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pellegrini tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
As Pellegrini looks to move away, Brown throws a big counter combo but Pellegrini just gets out of the way.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brown keeps the fight on the outside.
Pellegrini goes for a double leg but Brown avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brown continues to drive forward.
Crunch! Brown slams his shin into Pellegrini's torso.
Brown bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brown! Pellegrini is out on his feet! Brown rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pellegrini is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pellegrini is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
