Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vanilla Ice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riza Rakija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rakija is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rakija. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vanilla Ice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Riza Rakija!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rakija gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ice is trying to push Rakija away but Rakija has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Our sources have told us that Ice has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Rakija keeps control of Ice as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rakija misses with a punch to the body.

Ice manages to break the clinch.
Rakija avoids the body shot from Ice.
Ice fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rakija looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Ice tries to keep at a distance but Rakija has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rakija takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Rakija tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Ice wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ice wants to break free but Rakija has control.

Rakija's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rakija fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ice, pushing him back against the cage.
Ice is looking to break free of the clinch but Rakija has double underhooks.
Ice tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rakija's elbow.
Ice wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ice is trying to force a seperation but Rakija has the dominant position.

Rakija breaks from the clinch.
Ice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ice is looking to clinch.
Rakija is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Some bone on bone action there as Rakija checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ice goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Rakija's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ice really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rakija rushes Ice and presses him up against the cage.

Vanilla Ice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rakija has closed the distance and engaged Ice in a clinch.
Rakija misses with a body punch.

Rakija pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ice wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rakija has him pressed against the cage.
Ice wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rakija circles away quickly and effectively.
Ice lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Ice throws a wild body kick that Rakija sees coming a mile off.
Rakija tries to counter with a clinch but Ice shakes him off and moves away.

Rakija has closed the distance and engaged Ice in a clinch.
Rakija is struggling to control the position.
The referee calls for Rakija to work.
Come on Rakija - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Rakija receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ice wants to break the clinch but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riza Rakija dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rakija's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ice misses with a body punch.
Ice is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ice struggles to land a body shot inside as Rakija controls his hands.
Ice wants to break free but Rakija has control.
Ice tries to break free but Rakija pushes him back against the cage.
Rakija tries to work over Ice's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ice misses with a wild combination.
Rakija throws a nice looking combination but Ice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ice is looking for a counter combo.

Rakija moves into the clinch.
Ice misses with a punch to the body.

Rakija's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ice lands with a thumping leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Ice misses the target.
Despite the aggression on Rakija's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Rakija doesn't manage to clinch there - Ice circles away.

and Ice counters with an outside leg kick.

Rakija breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Riza Rakija showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rakija throws a combination. Ice tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ice looks to score with a jab to the body but Rakija is just out of range.

Rakija swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ice is looking to control Rakija's arms but Rakija gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ice has his back to the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Ice's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rakija ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ice keeps the fight on the outside.
Ice swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Ice tries to keep at a distance but Rakija has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rakija pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ice looks to land a right hand but Rakija moved out of range.
A little jabbing left from Rakija on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rakija has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ice looks to land a combination but Rakija avoids it well.
Rakija throws a right hand that Ice ducks under and follows up with a left that Ice also avoids with ease.
Ice looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ice looks to score with a jab to the body but Rakija is just out of range.

Rakija moves in looking to clinch but Ice pushes him off.
Ice swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ice sets himself, and Rakija steps forward looking for the clinch! Ice avoids it this time.
Ice punishes Rakija's body with a nice straight punch.
Ice throws a lazy uppercut

and Rakija decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ice's guard.
Rakija postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rakija trying to control but Ice is working from the bottom.
Rakija tries to free his leg and advance position but Ice is retaining full guard.
Rakija is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ice wants to stand up but Rakija is controlling him.

Rakija is stalling in the full guard.
Vanilla Ice has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ice preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Rakija takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ice throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rakija stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ice with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rakija connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Riza Rakija is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ice throws a low kick but Rakija moves out of range easily.
Rakija lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rakija takes the fight into the clinch.
Ice is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rakija is defending well for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Riza Rakija comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rakija winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
