The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Cortez or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams , which made it look bad.
Williams lands with a good body shot.
Williams lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Nathan Cortez has been cut.
Cortez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cortez looks winded!
Williams lands a really nice looking cross but Cortez seems unphased.
Cortez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Williams has closed the distance and engaged Cortez in a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Williams .
Cortez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Williams .
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williams lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cortez breaks from the clinch.
Williams connects with a looping right hand.
Williams moves away from the strike by Cortez.
Williams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cortez lands a nice shot that snaps Williams 's head back.
Cortez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Williams sends Cortez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Williams is motioning to the referee to let Cortez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Cortez tries to get into range but Williams steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Cortez! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Williams scores the big KO victory!
