Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kory Holman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Bravo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Holman enables Bravo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Holman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bravo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holman's guard.
Bravo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Bravo is looking for submissions but instead, Holman has regained full guard.
Bravo wants to pass the guard but Holman is keeping the position.
Bravo keeps trying to improve his position.
Holman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bravo trying to control but Holman is working from the bottom.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bravo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo passes Holman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bravo wants to take a breather but Holman is having none of it.
Holman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bravo.
Holman is controlling Bravo's position as best he can from this difficult position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Holman trying to control but Bravo postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bravo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holman was covering up waiting for the punch and Bravo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Holman has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bravo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Bravo feints and as Holman raises his hands in defense, Bravo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bravo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Holman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Holman has escaped and now he's on top!

Bravo has control of Holman's left arm, preventing Holman from doing any damage.
Holman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bravo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Holman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bravo's head.
Holman throws a strike but Bravo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bravo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Holman dives on top into guard.

Holman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Holman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Holman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bravo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bravo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bravo!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bravo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Holman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Eddie Bravo will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Holman has a takedown stuffed.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Eddie Bravo has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bravo is looking for a kimura but Holman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage.

Bravo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Holman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bravo.

Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Holman is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bravo lands strikes from half guard.
Bravo with the ground and pound but Holman uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Bravo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bravo has gone for a leg lock! Holman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bravo's guard.

Bravo is breathing heavily.
Bravo is pulling down on Holman's head to control his posture.

Holman postures up in Bravo's guard and throws a big left but Bravo blocks it.

Holman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Holman dives in and grabs Bravo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes down on Holman's head and hops out.

Bravo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Holman is trying to defend but Bravo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bravo wants to pass to mount but Holman is defending the position.

Bravo is working for a submission of some sort.
Holman desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Bravo uses his free foot to push down on Holman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Holman.
Holman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bravo thowing shots but they're missing.
Holman really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bravo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Holman is on top in guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bravo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Holman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bravo has Holman in his guard.

Holman is in close to Bravo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bravo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Holman throws a strike but Bravo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bravo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bravo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Holman is looking to control Bravo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holman avoid being mounted?

Bravo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

I would just about give that final round to Eddie Bravo.
Well Bravo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
