The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it.
Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nogueira misses with the body kick
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jones throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nogueira throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nogueira tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.

Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nogueira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jones throws a series of punches but Nogueira moves out of range.
Nogueira throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jones moves out of range as Nogueira strikes.
Nice uppercut there from Jones.
Jones jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've been informed that Jones has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nogueira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nogueira throws a good cross that connects.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nogueira misses the body punch
and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Nogueira.
Nogueira scores with a hook.
Jones lands an overhand right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nogueira throws a solid leg kick but Jones takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nogueira.

The fighters circle, before Nogueira throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jones's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Nogueira lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
