Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Riff McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennet has chosen Gangsta's Paradise as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bennet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGee.
Bennet doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

McGee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bennet to the ground. McGee is now in Bennet's guard.
McGee wants to pass the guard but Bennet is keeping the position.

McGee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee is working for a kimura but Bennet is defending it quite comfortably.
Bennet has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Vendetta Alliance London Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bennet tries to roll over but McGee keeps him under control.

McGee has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bennet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

McGee is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bennet is surviving well by controlling McGee's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bennet has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

McGee has got one arm under Bennet's chin. This could be trouble... Bennet trying to control the other hand but McGee gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Bennet has tapped out! The fight is over!
