The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackfoot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sodergren moves away.
Blackfoot wants to clinch.
Sodergren misses with a head kick.
As Sodergren tries to get set, Blackfoot tries to push him back and clinch up but Sodergren manages to avoid the attempt.
Blackfoot misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blackfoot works over Sodergren's head and body with a nice combination.
Blackfoot moves in looking to clinch but Sodergren pushes him off.
Sodergren connects with a body shot that sends Blackfoot's belly button to the back.

Blackfoot has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackfoot takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Blackfoot tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sodergren swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Blackfoot takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sodergren throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Blackfoot's head.

and Sodergren makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Blackfoot really felt that one!
Blackfoot is breathing heavily.
Blackfoot has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sodergren.
That kick from Sodergren tenderised Blackfoot's leg. Blackfoot is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sodergren lands a nice leg kick that just misses Blackfoot's sensitive parts.

Sodergren fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blackfoot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Sodergren counters with a thumping low kick.

Sodergren connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sodergren's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blackfoot connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sodergren scrambles back to his feet.
Sodergren explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Sodergren pounces like a tiger and cracks Blackfoot with a vicious hook! Blackfoot is down but not out! Sodergren follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
