Bowman's entrance music is Thousand foot krutch - War of change. A fine choice. Victorio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Guano Apes - Open your eyes. Jonny Victorio has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Casey Bowman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Victorio is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bowman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bowman went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Victorio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bowman but Bowman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've been hearing reports that Bowman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Victorio drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Victorio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bowman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bowman manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Victorio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Victorio clobbers Bowman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Casey Bowman has been cut.
Victorio dives in and scores a takedown into Bowman's guard.

Victorio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bowman defends it well.

Victorio is trying to control the action in half guard but Bowman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Victorio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bowman tries to avoid it but Victorio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bowman to the ground. Bowman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bowman walks into a jab.
Victorio throws a series of punches but Bowman avoids them all with ease.
It looked like Bowman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Victorio lands a left and a right that send Bowman crashing to the mat, dazed. Victorio thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bowman is rocked!
Casey Bowman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bowman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Oh Bowman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Victorio is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Bowman is in big trouble! Victorio is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Bowman. Poor guy.

Jonny Victorio really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that $30 items logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Casey Bowman was interviewed post fight and said 'Thanks to my team, my friends, my family and all supporters. Taking fights on short notice is always a risk. Anyway...I´ll be back stronger.'.
