Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Llavicrep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatti Tasapaksu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tasapaksu has chosen Motorhead - Smiling Like A Killer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Llavicrep!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tatti Tasapaksu!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tasapaksu tries to clinch but Llavicrep is having none of it.
Llavicrep misses with a series of wild punches.
Tasapaksu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Llavicrep.
Tatti Tasapaksu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tasapaksu scores with a punch to the head.
Tasapaksu lands a leg kick that knocks Llavicrep off balance momentarily.
Llavicrep ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tasapaksu moves away.
A little jabbing left from Tasapaksu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

As Tasapaksu looks to move away, Llavicrep throws a big counter combo but Tasapaksu just gets out of the way.

Llavicrep scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Llavicrep seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tasapaksu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We've been hearing that Llavicrep has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tasapaksu is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Llavicrep lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tasapaksu circles away quickly and effectively.
Tasapaksu tries to clinch but Llavicrep is having none of it.
Llavicrep tries to counter with a takedown but Tasapaksu is quick to defend against it.

Llavicrep lands with a hook. Tasapaksu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Llavicrep shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tasapaksu napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tasapaksu tries to bench press Llavicrep off him but Llavicrep keeps the position.
Llavicrep connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tasapaksu some visible discomfort.
Tasapaksu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Llavicrep wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Tatti Tasapaksu has been cut.
Tasapaksu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Tasapaksu throws a body shot but no joy.
A counter left hand to the body from Llavicrep misses its target.
Tasapaksu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tasapaksu throws a series of punches but Llavicrep moves out of range.
Llavicrep swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tasapaksu connects with an inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tasapaksu.
That kick from Tasapaksu tenderised Llavicrep's leg. Llavicrep is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tasapaksu lands a jab-cross combination.
Tasapaksu scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Llavicrep throws a right hand that Tasapaksu ducks under and follows up with a left that Tasapaksu also avoids with ease.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tasapaksu tries to clinch but Llavicrep moves out of range.

Llavicrep doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tasapaksu has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Llavicrep is on him like a limpet, forcing Tasapaksu back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tasapaksu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Llavicrep moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Llavicrep tries to bum rush Tasapaksu with a series of wild strikes but Tasapaksu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tatti Tasapaksu seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Llavicrep on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tasapaksu. Tasapaksu obviously looking to wear him down.
Tasapaksu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Llavicrep momentarily.

It looked like Llavicrep was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tasapaksu has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Llavicrep bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Tatti Tasapaksu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tasapaksu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tasapaksu missing with a left hand there. Llavicrep was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Come on Tasapaksu - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Llavicrep jumps guard but Tasapaksu turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tasapaksu lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Llavicrep backwards.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tatti Tasapaksu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tasapaksu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
