The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jones Jr loads up on a big right hand but Quincy slips the punch.
Jones Jr smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jones Jr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Quincy.
Jones Jr has his takedown stuffed
enabling Quincy to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Quincy tries to sprawl out of it but Jones Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quincy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Jones Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Quincy.

Quincy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Quincy lands a big head kick that sends Jones Jr to the canvas! Quincy follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
