Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Warren Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stannis Gyaravidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wong throws a head kick but Gyaravidis moves out of range.

Wong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gyaravidis quickly recovers to half guard.

Wong postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Gyaravidis to stand up.
Gyaravidis lands with a nice body kick.
Gyaravidis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wong defends well and Gyaravidis ends up having to push Wong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wong wants it to stay on the feet.

Wong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gyaravidis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gyaravidis closes the distance and clinches up with Wong, looking for a takedown. Gyaravidis pushes Wong against the cage but Wong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wong throws a quick counter head kick but Gyaravidis was just out of range.
Warren Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stannis Gyaravidis.

Wong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Gyaravidis tries to kick Wong off in order to stand up. Wong Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Wong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gyaravidis for as long as he can get away with.

Wong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gyaravidis, who protects the arm well.
Gyaravidis is looking to reverse the position.
Wong remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wong is staying tight to Gyaravidis's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That was a close round but I would say that Warren Wong will probably get the nod.

Wong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gyaravidis to the mat! Gyaravidis manages to get full guard.
Gyaravidis is looking to stand back up but Wong counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gyaravidis.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gyaravidis dives in for a single leg takedown but Wong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gyaravidis is breathing heavily.
Wong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gyaravidis shoots in looking for a takedown but Wong manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gyaravidis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wong stalks Gyaravidis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gyaravidis's face. Gyaravidis staggers backwards, shaken.

Gyaravidis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gyaravidis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
