Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angel Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Volland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tyga - Real Deal. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face throws a jab but it's blocked by Volland.
Christian Volland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Volland rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Volland takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Volland dodges the punch combination from Face.
Volland tries to close the distance and clinch but Face swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Face throws a hook but Volland blocks it.

Volland feints the counter takedown.
Face looks to score with a jab to the body but Volland is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Face leaves Volland with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Face counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Face throws a big counter combination but Volland scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

It looked like Face was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Volland is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Face avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Face slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Face fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Volland looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Volland seems to have recovered his senses.
Volland on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Face knocks Volland out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
