Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zsiga Venczel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2pac - All Eyez On Me. Julius Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venczel feinted with a counter takedown.
Venczel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.

It looks like Zsiga Venczel has been cut.
Jackson lands a jab-cross combination.

Venczel attempts a counter takedown but Jackson avoids it well and moves away.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Venczel is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Venczel shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Venczel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Venczel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Venczel decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Jackson throws a hook but Venczel avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Venczel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Venczel scrambles back to his feet.

Zsiga Venczel spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
