Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raine Lovelair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Stackhouse!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovelair thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lovelair moves out of range of the body kick from Stackhouse.
A telegraphed right hand from Stackhouse misses the target.
Stackhouse swings for the body but Lovelair moves out of range.
Stackhouse throws a half hearted mid kick.
Stackhouse throws a big shot that misses.
Lovelair drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stackhouse sprawls and moves away.

Stackhouse looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lovelair tries to clinch up but Stackhouse circles away and keeps his distance.
Johnny Stackhouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stackhouse throws an overhand right that lands on Lovelair's shoulder, as Lovelair tries to avoid the shot.
Stackhouse lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stackhouse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lovelair.
Stackhouse throws a looping overhand right but Lovelair ducks down to avoid it.

Stackhouse misses with a low kick as Lovelair jumps back.
As Stackhouse tries to get set, Lovelair tries to push him back and clinch up but Stackhouse manages to avoid the attempt.
Lovelair moves out of range of the body kick from Stackhouse.
Stackhouse throws an off balance right hand

and Lovelair counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lovelair will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stackhouse controls Lovelair momentarily but Lovelair frees himself.

Stackhouse working for a triangle but Lovelair defends it easily.
Lovelair chips away with some ground and pound.
Stackhouse is adopting a defensive guard.

Stackhouse is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lovelair defends well.
Lovelair in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Stackhouse is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lovelair is aware though and is defending well.
Lovelair lands a couple of digs.
Stackhouse looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Stackhouse wants to control the position but Lovelair says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Lovelair landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stackhouse is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lovelair pulls his head out easily.

Lovelair looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stackhouse with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lovelair working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Stackhouse is trying to maintain the position but Lovelair is very close to passing his half guard.
Stackhouse is refusing to be controlled, as Lovelair sits in half guard.
Stackhouse tries to roll over but Lovelair keeps him under control.
Lovelair lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lovelair lands a nice short elbow.
Stackhouse is still in real trouble! Can Lovelair finish him?

Lovelair lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Stackhouse quite badly. Stackhouse pulls Lovelair in close trying to recover. Lovelair postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Stackhouse on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Stackhouse doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raine Lovelair!
