Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rayjay Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondo comes to the cage accompanied by No Fear by j57. The crowd seem to be enjoying Carter's choice of entrance music: Black Betty. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mondo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Carter has his foot on Mondo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mondo works his way back into a safe position though.

Carter is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Carter is looking for the choke from the back position but Mondo is controlling his hands well.

I would not like to be Mondo right now.
Mondo breaks Carter's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Mondo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carter was covering up waiting for the punch and Mondo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Mondo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Mondo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mondo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carter defends well and Mondo ends up having to push Carter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mike Mondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
