Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ozamataz Buckshank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Walcott!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walcott throws a lazy right hand but Buckshank sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Walcott. Buckshank shrugs it off though.
Walcott walks into a stiff left hand from Buckshank.
We've been told by Buckshank's head coaches at Signature Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Walcott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Buckshank is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walcott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A jab lands there for Walcott.


It looks like Ozamataz Buckshank has been cut.
Buckshank punishes Walcott's body with a nice straight punch.
Walcott is looking to chop away at Buckshank's legs.
Walcott ducks under a wild hook from Buckshank.
Buckshank fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Walcott throws a leg kick which misses Buckshank's front leg but catches the back leg as Buckshank tries to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buckshank throws a shot from downtown. Walcott moves away and avoids it.

Buckshank tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walcott was well out of range. Poor timing from Buckshank.

Buckshank decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Buckshank is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Buckshank's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Buckshank seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Walcott for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Buckshank goes for a double leg but Walcott avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walcott continues to drive forward.
Buckshank tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walcott defends well and Buckshank ends up having to push Walcott into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ozamataz Buckshank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walcott turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Buckshank shoots in but no luck this time.
Walcott replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Buckshank blocks it well.
Walcott lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Walcott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Buckshank.

Buckshank ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walcott moves away.

Walcott buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Buckshank misses with a body punch
and Walcott counters with an inside leg kick.
Buckshank is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Walcott closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Buckshank rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walcott counters with a body kick.
Buckshank is breathing heavily.
Buckshank lands a nice looking body shot.
Walcott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Buckshank stuns Walcott with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Buckshank sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Walcott pushes Buckshank away with a front kick.
Walcott connects with a solid leg kick.
Walcott jabs at Buckshank's body.
Walcott comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Walcott thumps Buckshank with a low kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Walcott.
Danga de danga de dang - Walcott scores with a four punch combination!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Walcott dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ozamataz Buckshank's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Buckshank misses with a two punch combination.
Walcott lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Buckshank takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Walcott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice combination there by Buckshank.
Walcott takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


Buckshank is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Walcott. That's going to slow Buckshank down.
Oh Buckshank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buckshank is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walcott sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Buckshank throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Walcott counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Walcott has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The fighters circle, before Walcott throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Buckshank's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Walcott lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Joe Walcott!
