Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brett Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Daniel!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel tries to close the distance and clinch but Stone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Daniel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Stone clinches up against the cage.
Stone goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daniel prevents it.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Daniel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Stone moves into the clinch successfully.

Stone manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Stone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniel but Daniel pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. Daniel tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daniel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone goes for a double leg but Daniel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daniel continues to drive forward.

Stone stalks Daniel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Daniel's face. Daniel staggers backwards, shaken.

Stone jumps guard and drags Daniel to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Daniel dives in and grabs Stone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes down on Daniel's head and hops out.

Brett Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brett Stone.
Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
