Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Millennium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Millennium!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow needs to keep his hands up - Millennium had a free shot at his head there.
Snow misses with a body kick.
Millennium looks to land a left hand but Snow moved out of range nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Millennium.
Snow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
And Snow tries to counter it with a takedown but Millennium pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Millennium pivots, looking for a leg kick but Snow is out of range and Millennium settles back down.
Snow tries to counter with a clinch but Millennium shakes him off and moves away.
Millennium lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Millennium.

Snow shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Snow wants to take a breather but Millennium is having none of it.
Millennium wants to get back to full guard.
Snow is trying to control the action in half guard but Millennium is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Millennium gets back to full guard.

Millennium throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Millennium is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Snow is aware though and is defending well.
Millennium might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Snow trying to control but Millennium is working from the bottom.

Millennium is looking for a triangle but Snow pushes his legs off easily.
Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Millennium is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Snow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Millennium is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Millennium has escaped and now he's on top!

Millennium postures up in Snow's guard and throws a big left but Snow blocks it.

Snow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Snow working for a triangle but Millennium defends it easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Millennium got a little sloppy there for a moment and Snow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Millennium has managed to get both his arms back between Snow's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Snow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Snow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Snow is looking for a triangle here but Millennium uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Millennium looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Snow is looking for a sweep.
The strikes coming from Millennium are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Millennium working away.
Snow felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Millennium is looking to take a break and control but Snow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Millennium wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snow, who protects the arm well.
Snow is looking to reverse the position.
Millennium throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Millennium in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Millennium has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Millennium tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Millennium is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snow has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Millennium dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Millennium walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Snow checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Millennium connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Millennium feints and then cracks Snow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snow down.
Millennium lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chris Millennium seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Millennium misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Snow.
Millennium waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Millennium moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Millennium swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow.
Snow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Snow counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Millennium!

Millennium is looking for a sweep.
Snow works to advance to full mount. Millennium defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Millennium is looking to get to half guard.
Millennium sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Millennium is staying active underneath Snow, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Snow is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Millennium defends it well.
Snow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Millennium. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Millennium gets full guard.

Snow is pushing down on Millennium's leg trying to pass to half guard. Millennium is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through.
Snow works his way into side control.
Millennium is trying to escape the position but Snow is controlling the position.

Millennium tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Millennium manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Chris Millennium overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Snow manages to get to full guard.
Snow is trying to keep Millennium in close.

Millennium looking to pass the guard.
Snow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Snow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Millennium doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Millennium manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Snow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Millennium defends it easily.

Snow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Snow controls Millennium momentarily but Millennium frees himself.

Millennium is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Snow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Millennium is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Millennium in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Snow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Millennium will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Millennium goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Snow with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Millennium cracks Snow with a nice body shot.
Millennium swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Snow tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Millennium avoids it.
Millennium is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow stalling in the clinch but Millennium improves position.
Millennium fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Snow misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Millennium has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Snow clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Snow tries to roll but Millennium sticks to his back.
Snow just trying to survive but Millennium is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Snow tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Millennium is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Snow can do to turn this around?
Snow wants to hold on but Millennium pushes him away.
Millennium mounts Snow! Really nice guard pass there!
Millennium throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Snow is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Millennium throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Snow can't escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snow wants to control but Millennium is having none of it.
Millennium takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
I really don't envy Snow right now.
Snow is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Millennium off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Snow manages to reverse the position and now he's in Millennium's guard. Nice work there by Snow.
Snow tries to free his leg and advance position but Millennium is retaining full guard.

Millennium has his foot on Snow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Snow works his way back into a safe position though.
Snow wants to control from the top but Millennium keeps moving.
Millennium is trying to control the position but Snow postures up.
Millennium has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Snow has passed into side control.
Millennium tries to improve position but can't.
Snow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Millennium keeps working.
Snow advances nicely into full mount.

Millennium bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Snow can do anything to dispel that myth.

Millennium trying to control but Snow is working from the bottom.
Millennium advances to half guard.
Snow trying to control but Millennium postures up.
Millennium trying to mount his opponent but Snow defends it.
Millennium uses his free foot to push down on Snow's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Snow.

Millennium looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Chris Millennium showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Millennium has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
