Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Van Buuren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Sachz!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Buuren throws a leg kick

and Sachz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sachz.
Sachz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sachz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Van Buuren's guard.
Sachz drops an elbow to the side of Van Buuren's head.
Sachz controlling the action here.
Let's hope that Sachz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sachz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Van Buuren tries to get to full guard but Sachz has control of the leg.
Van Buuren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sachz wants to free his trapped foot but Van Buuren is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Van Buuren on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Sachz is taking a breather. Van Buuren says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Van Buuren is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sachz pulls his head out easily.

Van Buuren tries to roll over but Sachz keeps him under control.
Sachz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Sachz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sachz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Van Buuren doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sachz.
Sachz is pressing down on Van Buuren's thigh, looking to free his foot. Van Buuren is holding on for now.
Still in half guard, Sachz seems content to control.
Van Buuren manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sachz content to stall in guard here.
Van Buuren has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sachz has passed into side control.
Sachz moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Sachz looks up at the clock and then as Van Buuren takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sachz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
You can see the frustration on Van Buuren's face as Sachz controls the position.
More stalling from Sachz.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van Buuren is looking to reverse the position.
Van Buuren manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Sachz performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sachz lands a nice short elbow.

Sachz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Sachz with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
Van Buuren is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Sachz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Van Buuren tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sachz!
