Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denerson Lage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Teste Teste!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Teste.
Lage misses with a kick to the body.
Teste throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lage.
Teste is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lage.
Lage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lage takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Teste stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lage misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Teste! But no joy.
A clash of legs there as Teste blocks the low kick.
Lage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lage gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Teste counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Teste lands a nice looking body shot.
Teste lands a slapping body shot.
Lage is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Teste drives through and clinches with Lage against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Teste has him pressed against the cage.
Teste lands a shoulder strike.
Teste lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Teste scores with a hook to the body.
Teste lands a body shot.
A right hook to the body lands for Teste.
A short uppercut from Teste.
Teste lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lage backwards.
Lage is rocked!
Teste misses with a punch on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Teste creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Oh Lage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Teste.
Lage blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Teste tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Teste has a couple of punches blocked by Lage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Teste.

Lage seems to have got his legs back now.
Lage prevents a body shot from Teste.
Teste lands a hook that snaps the head of Lage backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teste creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Lage's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Lage drops to his knees and Teste pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teste Teste!
