Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Eddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Inurgurl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inurgurl scores with a takedown into Eddles's guard.
Inurgurl connects with a couple of short punches.
Inurgurl trying to control the position from guard on top but Eddles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Inurgurl content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Inurgurl in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Eddles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Inurgurl is one step ahead there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inurgurl is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Eddles has his foot on Inurgurl's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Inurgurl works his way back into a safe position though.
Eddles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inurgurl is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Inurgurl cracks Eddles with a solid left hand.
Inurgurl is working Eddles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Inurgurl lands a nice short elbow.

Eddles is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inurgurl pulls his head out easily.
Inurgurl looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Eddles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Inurgurl drops an elbow to the side of Eddles's head.
Oh Eddles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Inurgurl lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Eddles! More strikes land and this one is all over! Inurgurl jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
