Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shoei Braz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Holliday!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday missing with a left hand there. Braz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Braz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Holliday sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Braz somewhat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Holliday can do anything to dispel that myth.

Holliday told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Braz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Braz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Braz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Holliday is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Braz yanks on the arm and Holliday is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Braz.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shoei Braz!
