Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cho King Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Pinaglabanan!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from King Fang does no damage.
King Fang shoots in for a takedown but Pinaglabanan shows good takedown defense.
Pinaglabanan looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pinaglabanan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pinaglabanan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King Fang.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cho King Fang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pinaglabanan pushes King Fang up against the cage in a clinch.
Pinaglabanan gets underhooks to prevent King Fang's takedown attempt.

King Fang's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King Fang tries for a takedown but Pinaglabanan manages to get underhooks.
Pinaglabanan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
King Fang takes an elbow to the forehead.
Pinaglabanan throws a knee to the head but misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pinaglabanan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pinaglabanan just misses with a elbow thrown towards King Fang's brow.
King Fang is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King Fang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pinaglabanan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pinaglabanan looks to land a combination but King Fang avoids it well.
Pinaglabanan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King Fang.
Pinaglabanan plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends King Fang swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! King Fang face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Pinaglabanan!
Our winner, John Pinaglabanan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
