The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonathon moves out of range of the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jonathon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Elcock counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jonathon is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jonathon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Elcock sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Elcock throws the kick towards the body but Jonathon avoids it.

Elcock scores with a head kick. Jonathon tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Elcock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Elcock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jonathon thinking.

Elcock swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jonathon closes the distance and clinches.
Jonathon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Elcock avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Armando Elcock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Jonathon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jonathon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Elcock is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jonathon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Elcock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Elcock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jonathon.
Jonathon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Jonathon moves forwards but Elcock connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Elcock lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jonathon is still on wobbly legs! Can Elcock finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jonathon throws a body shot but no joy.
Elcock throws a big counter combination but Jonathon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Elcock turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Elcock lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Jonathon falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
