Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wenutu Halai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaughn Peebles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wenutu Halai has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wenutu Halai seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peebles keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Halai.
Halai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Peebles drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A big left from Peebles misses.
Good shot there by Halai.
Wenutu Halai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halai throws a lazy right hand but Peebles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Peebles ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Halai throws a good cross that connects.
Halai lands a really nice looking cross but Peebles seems unphased.
Halai connects with a nice looking jab.
Halai misses with an uppercut.
Peebles takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Peebles is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Halai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Peebles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Halai is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A jab from Halai misses.
Halai lands with a cross.

Peebles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Halai to the mat! Halai manages to get full guard.
Halai is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Peebles dives into side control.

Halai tries to escape but Peebles is in control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halai tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Peebles scoring with strikes but Halai is staying in there.

Halai wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Peebles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Peebles cracks Halai with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Peebles is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Halai is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Peebles is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Halai is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Halai flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Peebles anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Halai and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Peebles slips an arm under Halai chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Peebles has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Peebles is squeezing on Halai like an anaconda would it's prey. Halai fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
