Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agustin Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trujillo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Infectious Grooves - Violent & Funky kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Brian Pereira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Agustin Trujillo!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trujillo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Trujillo throws a low kick, looking for Pereira's leg but Pereira calmly moves out of range.
Trujillo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pereira scores with a nice strike.
Pereira throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trujillo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brian Pereira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pereira looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Trujillo!
Trujillo is looking for a sweep.
Trujillo regains half guard, as Pereira was trying to land strikes.

Trujillo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pereira pulls his head out easily.

Pereira lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are battling for position here. Trujillo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Pereira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trujillo is just riding it out for now. Pereira eventually gives up the hold.
Pereira with the ground and pound but Trujillo uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Trujillo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pereira can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pereira is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Pereira working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Pereira has control of Trujillo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Trujillo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pereira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trujillo manages to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pereira feints and then cracks Trujillo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trujillo down.

Pereira cracks Trujillo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Trujillo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pereira at a distance.

Agustin Trujillo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pereira darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Trujillo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pereira takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Trujillo throws a solid leg kick but Pereira takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Trujillo.

Pereira is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trujillo can do to turn this around?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Trujillo is on top in guard.

You can see the frustration on Pereira's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pereira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trujillo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pereira parries the strikes from Trujillo easily there. Trujillo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pereira to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trujillo is looking to take a break and control but Pereira is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A close second round but Agustin Trujillo will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Trujillo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pereira throws a lazy right hand but Trujillo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Pereira counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
It looks like Pereira has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Pereira takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Pereira lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Pereira lands a big right hand that sends Trujillo crashing to the mat! Pereira stays standing though and waves Trujillo back to his feet!


Trujillo is rocked!


It looks like Agustin Trujillo has been cut.
Trujillo ducks into an uppercut from Pereira and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Pereira!
A relieved looking Brian Pereira thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
