Souvlaki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Greek Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souvlaki feints and as Washington raises his hands in defense, Souvlaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Washington might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Washington is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Souvlaki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Souvlaki prevents Washington from getting back to his feet.
Washington can't keep his opponent in guard - Souvlaki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Washington wants to control but Souvlaki is keeping busy.

Souvlaki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Washington is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
