Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavares comes into the arena with Devour the Day - Get Out of My Way blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Henrique Tavares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Claude Patrick!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares walks into a straight right hand from Patrick.
Patrick tries to keep at a distance but Tavares has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tavares pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Patrick dodges the punch combination from Tavares.
Tavares uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Patrick.
Patrick throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Tavares colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Patrick as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Tavares is left battered and dazed whilst Patrick and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Claude Patrick!
During a confident post fight interview, Jean Claude Patrick thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
