Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalisto Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by mama said knock you out. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Omega throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Omega paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Nelson tries a head kick but it misses.
Omega goes for a double leg but Nelson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nelson continues to drive forward.
Gunnar Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalisto Omega.

Omega feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gunnar Nelson will probably get the nod.

Omega throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nelson was covering up waiting for the punch and Omega finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nelson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nelson tries to get out of the position.

Omega is looking for a triangle but Nelson pushes his legs off easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gunnar Nelson.
Well Nelson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Gunnar Nelson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
