Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo De Los Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Martin!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone doesn't manage to clinch there - Martin circles away.
Martin unleashes a big counter combination but Stone bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Stone takes the fight into the clinch.

Martin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Martin manages to end up in side control.

Stone is trying to escape the mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martin is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Stone tries to hold on but Martin pushes him away.

Stone gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone is looking to control Martin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stone avoid being mounted?
Stone wants to improve his position but Martin is controlling well.

Stone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Martin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Stone trying to hold on to Martin's head to control him but Martin postures up.
Martin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Martin decides to return to a standing position.
Martin lands a really nice looking cross but Stone seems unphased.
Pablo De Los Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Martin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Martin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stone closes the distance but Martin moves to the side

and Martin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Martin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Martin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stone tries to roll over but Martin keeps him under control.

Martin wants to free his trapped foot but Stone is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stone trying to hold on to Martin's head to control him but Martin postures up.
Martin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Martin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Stone is looking to control Martin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stone avoid being mounted?

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Martin dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stone tries to clinch but Martin is having none of it.

and Martin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard.
Martin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Martin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Martin has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted.

Martin wants to pass the guard but Stone is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Stone is tightening it up a little... Martin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Martin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Martin taps out! Nice BJJ there by Stone!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Pablo De Los Stone!
After winning the bout, Pablo De Los Stone thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
