PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bago Biga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biga kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ratamahatta. Carolla has chosen Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2 as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biga takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carolla throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Biga counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Biga throws an elbow that misses. Carolla uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Biga's guard. Nice move by Carolla!

Carolla is stalling in the full guard.
Biga might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Carolla stands up and waves to Biga to follow him.

Carolla takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Carolla has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Carolla lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Carolla closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Biga is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Carolla is defending well for now.

Carolla has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The referee is keeping an eye on Carolla - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Biga.

Carolla's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Biga sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Biga misses with a hook. Carolla ducked under it nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Carolla.
Carolla scores with a sloppy right hand. Biga should have avoided that one.

Carolla thuds his right hand into Biga's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Carolla closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Biga will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carolla bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Carolla has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Biga throws a push kick but Carolla slaps the foot to one side.
Carolla jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Carolla connects with a body shot.
Carolla cracks Biga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Biga, right into the meat.
Carolla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
As Carolla tries to get set, Biga tries to push him back and clinch up but Carolla manages to avoid the attempt.
Carolla looks to throw the jab but Biga is out of range.
Carolla scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Biga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carolla's waist but Carolla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Biga off to one side.

Carolla connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Biga's hands.

Carolla lands a nice hook to Biga's body. Biga takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Biga appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Carolla is pawing at Biga, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Biga's nose. Biga is badly hurt! Carolla pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Biga tries desperately to hold on but Carolla is relentless in his assault! As Biga receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Carolla away and this one is in the books!
