The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Brown.
Neymar Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Santos.
Santos throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Brown throws a low kick but Santos moves out of range easily.
Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Santos clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage.

Santos struggles to land a body shot inside as Brown controls his hands.

I was talking to Brown's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Santos is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Santos down to the mat. Santos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Santos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
