Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marish lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pereira throws a leg kick but Marish moved away.
Marish looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Pereira fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Marish sprawls well initially but Pereira persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Marish controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marish is trying to stand.
Marish trying to hold on to Pereira's head to control him but Pereira postures up.

Pereira is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Marish sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marish is looking to improve his position.
Marish wants to control but Pereira is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Pereira throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Marish is trying to stand.
Pereira trying to control the action but Marish is working from the bottom.
Pereira with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Marish wants to get back to his feet.

Marish is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Pereira has latched onto it... Big trouble! Pereira pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Marish is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Pereira!

Marcus Pereira really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Highland Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
