Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samson Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. LL CoolJ - Headsprung kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samson Wade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
41 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Silva!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Wade's front leg but catches the back leg as Wade tries to avoid it.
Wade has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Vicious Striking in the buildup to the fight.
Wade misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Wade moves out of range easily.
Wade lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Daniel Silva has been cut.
Wade moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Wade moves into the clinch successfully.
Wade missing with knees to the body.
Silva lands a nice uppercut.
Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Wade is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well.
Wade tries for a takedown but Silva manages to get underhooks.
Wade has a couple of punches blocked by Silva.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Silva.
Wade is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samson Wade. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wade creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Wade is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks.
Wade fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Silva has Wade pushed against the cage.
Silva has Wade pressed against the cage, preventing Wade from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wade is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wade avoid being mounted?
Wade is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wade manages to get to full guard.

Wade is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Wade is trying to hold Silva in close to prevent damage but Silva has managed to pass into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wade is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wade is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wade bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.

Silva is trying to control the position but Wade postures up.
Wade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wade is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva lands some strikes from the bottom.
Silva is pulling down on Wade's head to control his posture.
Wade working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daniel Silva will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A telegraphed right hand from Wade misses the target.
Wade tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wade has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Wade lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Silva.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Wade down.
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wade.
Wade is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Wade is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Silva looks to throw the jab but Wade is out of range.
Silva throws a leg kick but Wade sees it coming and checks it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wade scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Wade sprawls well.

Wade tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wade throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot.
Wade takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Wade avoids the body shot from Silva.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wade.
Silva throws out a counter right but Wade avoids it with no problem.
Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Silva is holding his hands too far apart here. Wade throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Silva is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samson Wade!
