The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hackettus shoots for a takedown but Brain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hackettus on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Hackettus tries to pull guard but Brain holds him up against the cage and eventually Hackettus drops back down to his feet.

Brain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hackettus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brain tries to avoid it but Hackettus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brain to the ground. Brain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yoyo Brain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rufus Hackettus.
Brain takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hackettus tries to clinch up but Brain circles away and keeps his distance.

Brain lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Brain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brain throws an overhand right that drops Hackettus like a sack of potatoes! Brain dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
