The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green keeps the fight on the outside.
Green throws out a counter right but Doe avoids it with no problem.
Doe steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Green. That one must have hurt.
Doe tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Green cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Green on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Doe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Extreme Training in the buildup to the fight.
Doe misses with an uppercut.
The fighters circling - Doe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Doe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Green uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Doe has time to react.

and Green counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Doe on his ass! Doe wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice defenses there by Green.
It seemed like Green was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Oh Doe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Green ducks under a wild hook from Doe.
Doe just misses with a punch to the body.
Green closes the distance and catches Doe with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Doe is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Doe is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Doe is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Green takes it!
