PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beau Remington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Farinola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remington comes into the arena with Lily Was Here blaring out of the sound system. Farinola comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the Tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farinola shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Remington napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Remington manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Remington slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Remington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Farinola's guard.

Remington wants to pass the guard but Farinola is keeping the position.
Remington advances position into side control!

Remington tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Remington has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Remington working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Remington wants to control but Farinola is keeping him busy.

Remington is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Farinola is trying to escape and Remington transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Farinola is forced to tap! Nice work there by Remington! Very nice indeed!

Beau Remington spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Frank Farinola stepped up to the mic, saying 'I would like to thank my fight club and my fans for the support and look forward to coming back even better.'.
