The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgensen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wieclaw on his heels. He'll look to pass Wieclaw's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jorgensen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jorgensen distracts Wieclaw with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jorgensen won't allow Wieclaw to sweep him here.
Jorgensen cracks Wieclaw with a solid left hand.
Jorgensen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Wieclaw has momentary wrist control but Jorgensen slips an elbow through the middle.
Wieclaw wants to sweep here but Jorgensen controlling him for the moment.
Jorgensen loads up on a big left hand. Wieclaw felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jorgensen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Wieclaw can't hide his disappointment, as Jorgensen celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Demetrious Jorgensen!
