The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark defending well as Gennero loads up on a big left hand.
Clark scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gennero doesn't seem bothered though.
Clark is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Clark throws a low kick but Gennero moves out of range easily.

We've been hearing reports that Clark has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Clark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gennero has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gennero connects with a good right hand that stumbles Clark. Clark circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Clark jabs Gennero right on the nose. Gennero blinks but takes it well.
Nice straight punches there by Clark. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Clark.
Gennero bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clark's head backwards.
Gennero feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Clark collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
