The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bannon staying out of range there.
Bannon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Bulsara misses with a kick to the body.
Bulsara throws a sloppy head kick
and Bannon counters with a left to the body.
Bulsara scores with a jab.
Bulsara throws a leg kick
and Bulsara takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bannon scores with a decent looking hook.
Bannon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bulsara moves away.
Bulsara misses the body punch
and Bannon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bulsara. That's going to slow Bannon down.

Bannon is looking to chop away at Bulsara's legs.
Bulsara swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A quick step to the side and Bannon tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bannon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bulsara.
Bulsara throws a head kick that Bannon semi-blocks.

Bannon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The fighters circling - Bannon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bannon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bulsara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bannon.
Bulsara only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Farrokh Bulsara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bannon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bulsara stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Bannon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bulsara throws a right hand that misses
and Bannon scores with a counter punch that sends Bulsara to the canvas! Bannon smells blood - he's punishing Bulsara with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bulsara has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
