The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horizon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brown.
Horizon is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brown with a body shot.
Horizon moves out of range of the strikes.
Horizon blocks a jab.
Nice body kick from Horizon.
Evan Horizon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horizon connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Dave Brown has been cut.
Horizon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brown.
Brown pivots, looking for a leg kick but Horizon is out of range and Brown settles back down.
Brown looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Horizon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Horizon ducks under a wild hook from Brown.
Horizon lands a leg kick that knocks Brown off balance momentarily.
Horizon misses with a left hand
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Horizon throws a low kick but it's checked well by Brown.
Horizon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown.
Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Horizon's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A telegraphed right hand from Horizon misses the target.
Brown throws a leg kick but Horizon sees it coming and moves out of range.

Horizon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Brown on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Brown throws a body kick that misses.
Brown buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brown on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Horizon. Horizon obviously looking to wear him down.
Horizon moves out of range of the body kick from Brown.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Horizon throws out the jab.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horizon moves away.
Horizon looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Horizon backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Brown's temple! It sends Brown violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Horizon celebrates and the doctors try to help Brown!
