The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Whitaker Jr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Killjoy tried to score with a low kick but Whitaker Jr checks it.
Killjoy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Whitaker Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Whitaker Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Killjoy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like Drug Killjoy has been cut.
Killjoy bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Whitaker Jr comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Killjoy falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Killjoy was out before he hit the floor!

A relieved looking Pernell Whitaker Jr thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
