Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Engelbreckt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engelbreckt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Engelbreckt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Duddy thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Engelbreckt lands a left and a right that send Duddy crashing to the mat, dazed. Engelbreckt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Duddy has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Engelbreckt off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh!!! Engelbreckt has knocked Duddy down with a huge combo! Engelbreckt steps away and waves a wobbly Duddy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Good leg kick by Engelbreckt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Engelbreckt counters with a huge left! Duddy is in big trouble! He's backing up but Engelbreckt isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Duddy from any more damage. A dominating finish by Engelbreckt!
