Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nickthaniel Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Feiticeira. Jingles has chosen Ride the Lightening-Metallica as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nickthaniel Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Jingles!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jingles under the eye.
Jingles fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diaz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jingles.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Jingles gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Jingles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diaz scores with a nice head shot.
Jingles fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jingles shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diaz pinned against the cage. Diaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jingles moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jingles misses with a takedown attempt
and Diaz counters with a right hand to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jingles.
Jingles shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed Jingles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nickthaniel Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Jingles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Jingles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Diaz connects with a body shot that sends Jingles's belly button to the back.
Jingles looks winded!

Diaz has closed the distance and engaged Jingles in a clinch.

Jingles is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks.

Jingles is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks.

Jingles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jingles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Diaz defends well and Jingles ends up having to push Diaz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jingles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Diaz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Diaz throws a body punch but Jingles moves out of range.
Jingles takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jingles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Diaz lands an overhand right.
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mr Jingles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jingles has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diaz finds it's way round the side to connect with Jingles's head.
Jingles is looking to clinch.
Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Diaz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Diaz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Jingles moves into the clinch successfully.

Jingles is trying to push Diaz away but Diaz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Diaz trying to stall but Jingles improves his position.
Diaz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jingles after a bit of a struggle.
Jingles tries to break free but Diaz pushes him back against the cage.
Jingles unloads a knee to the mid-section. Diaz lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Jingles breaks the clinch.

Jingles rushes Diaz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jingles breaks from the clinch.
Diaz leaves Jingles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
Donk. Diaz catches Jingles right on the button with a cross.
Jingles tries to clinch up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Jingles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz connects with a body shot that sends Jingles's belly button to the back.
Jingles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diaz scores with a punch to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz pushes Jingles up against the cage in a clinch.

Jingles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Jingles does a little dance to reset his feet.
Diaz clobbers Jingles with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jingles with a lazy takedown attempt
and Diaz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jingles takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jingles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diaz connects with a body shot.
Diaz lands a jab to Jingles's midsection.
Jingles throws a sloppy head kick
and Diaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jingles gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diaz.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nickthaniel Diaz dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jingles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jingles takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Diaz cracks a nice hook into Jingles's ribs.
Jingles throws a body punch but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Diaz is looking to wear down Jingles with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jingles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Diaz counters with a right hand to the body.
Jingles takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jingles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diaz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Diaz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jingles can do to turn this around?
Diaz lands a right hook to the body.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jingles takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Jingles is breathing heavily.

Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Jingles down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Jingles back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jingles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Diaz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jingles is still in real trouble! Can Diaz finish him?

Diaz has his feet on Jingles's thighs here. He's pushed Jingles off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jingles screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nickthaniel Diaz!
Nickthaniel Diaz really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sun-Tzu logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Mr Jingles was interviewed post fight and said 'I wonder how much he paid the Ref'.
