Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Meida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hark Munt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oceans(Where feet may fail) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hark Munt has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Thiago Meida's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meida connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Munt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Munt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meida but Meida pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oooooh!!! Meida has knocked Munt down with a huge combo! Meida steps away and waves a wobbly Munt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Meida has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Munt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Meida.

Munt misses with a takedown attempt - Meida sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Meida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Meida wants it to stay on the feet.

Hark Munt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Munt wants to clinch up but Meida keeps it at a distance.
Meida is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Meida displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Munt throws out the jab.
It looked like Meida wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Meida slaps away a takedown attempt from Munt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Meida connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Munt momentarily.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hark Munt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Thiago Meida bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
