The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titanus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Takahashi.
Titanus just misses with a punch to the body.
Titanus stuns Takahashi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Takahashi avoids the head kick by Titanus.
Takahashi looks to land a left hand but Titanus moved out of range nicely.
Titanus walks into a straight right hand from Takahashi.

and Titanus counters with a nice uppercut.

It looked like Titanus was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Takahashi.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Titanus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Titanus takes a swing at Takahashi's ribcage but misses.
Titanus finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Titanus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Takahashi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Titanus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takahashi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Takahashi throws a lazy right hand but Titanus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Titanus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Guinness Stout in the buildup to the fight.
Titanus throws a hook to the side of Takahashi's head but Takahashi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Takahashi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Titanus checks the leg kick nicely there.
Titanus throws a quick counter head kick but Takahashi was just out of range.
Titanus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice body punch from Takahashi.
Titanus slips a straight right by Takahashi.
Takahashi is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Titanus had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Takahashi ducks right into an uppercut from Titanus.
Takahashi motions for Titanus to come forward. Takahashi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Takahashi scores with the left hand. Titanus knows he should have avoided that one.
Takahashi misses with a lunging right hand
and Titanus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Takahashi, as that shot connected.
A left and a right from Takahashi both land. Nice combination.
Takahashi throws a poor cross that misses
and Titanus counters with a slapping leg kick.
Takahashi throws a big shot that misses.
Titanus cracks Takahashi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Titanus has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Takahashi to stand back up!
Takahashi is rocked!
Takahashi misses with a body kick.
Takahashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Titanus finish him?

Titanus takes a jab right on the kisser.
Takahashi seems to have recovered his senses.
A big right from Takahashi misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Takahashi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Ethelbart Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takahashi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Titanus.

Titanus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takahashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Titanus.

Constantine Titanus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Titanus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takahashi thinking.
Titanus moves out of range of the leg kick from Takahashi.

Oh Titanus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takahashi sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Titanus's defenses. It connects perfectly with Titanus's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
