Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zlatko Zahovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon has chosen American Ninja 2 OST - Truckin' as his entrance music. Kirk Boon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zahovic bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boon misses with a wild combination.
Zahovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boon's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Boon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Zahovic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boon manages to avoid it.
Boon misses with a wild combination.
Zahovic scores with a hook to the body. Boon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Zahovic drives through and clinches with Boon against the cage.
Zahovic manages to break the clinch.
Boon throws a right and a left that both miss.

Boon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Zlatko Zahovic has been cut.

Zahovic fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Boon square on the jaw! Damn, Boon is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
